Bilaspur. CG Train Accident: Big news of this time is coming out from Shahdol. A goods train overshooting the signal hit another goods train from behind near Singhpur railway station in Bilaspur-Katni section of South East Central Railway (SECR) on Wednesday morning. Due to which the engine caught fire and about nine-ten coaches got derailed, while there is information about the death of a loco pilot and injuries to some people in the incident.
According to railway sources, the accident took place around 7 pm when a goods train overshot the signal near Singhpur station and hit another goods train from behind. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the officers and employees of Bilaspur Railway Division reached the spot and started relief and rescue work with the help of the local administration. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
